Stefan Bromby, IT Specialist at Rusta, says that they are highly satisfied with the collaboration between Rusta and West International, since it enables them to work close to each other both geographically and in the processes from installation to service. Over the past five years, West has supplied check-outs and peripherals, handheld computers and access points to all Rusta shops in Sweden and Norway.
Today, Rusta has printers from Star in all its shops; the printers cut receipt wastage by an estimated 25%, a very useful gain in environmental and cost-saving terms. Hardware-wise, a more seamless system than the one use today is sought, and as the current system is end-of-life at the turn of the year 2016/2017, the need for an all-in-one solution is currently being looked into. An alternative solution will be phased in step-by-step in the department stores in Sweden and Norway.
A future-proofed, all-in-one system in all Rusta shops would make the job easier for check-out staff and create conditions for a better customer experience, as well as higher service quality, and it is hoped that West can meet the requirements.

“Stefan says that they are highly satisfied with the collaboration between Rusta and West, since it enables them to work close to each other both geographically and from installation to service, and that benefits the whole business, particularly the part serving the department stores. We find West to be very accessible, solution-led and it always provides a very high service quality.”
